    Netherlands Utrecht 1642/1 Silver Liondaalder.  A l
    arge and impressive 41mm.  KM13 D4863. These were a popular trade coin and circulated in the north American colonies before the Revolution. Listed in the US coin "Redbook" page 36, where it is priced at 5 in Very Fine and 0 in Extremely Fine. Most were rather crudely struck due to hand formed planchets. Likely a sea salvage coin recovered from a wreck, although the surfaces are almost entirely smooth and flashy.
