    Description

    C.R. WHISTLER TRANSFER & STORAGE CO. Framed Print, Lafayette, IN. Condition is "Used". It measures 26.75" tall x 32.25" wide and weighs just under 12 pounds.
    It appears to be early 1900's, lithograph most likely, in a wood frame with glass and covered paper on the back.  I attempted to research this company but didn't come up with anything.  It was acquired at an estate sale filled with vintage items primarily from Lafayette, Indiana.  I wish I had more information on the company, but I do not.
    The print has a couple of flaws shown in the last 2 photos.  The lower left has a puncture/hole.  The lower right has a couple "holes" too along with what looks to be water damage.  Since there are no corresponding holes on the back it must've been reframed at some point in time. Great subject matter showing one of their delivery trucks outside of their building in downtown Lafayette.
