    Description

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE WORDS, DHINC EBAY WATERMARK ARE NOT ON THE ITEM ITSELF
You are bidding on an old magazine ad which advertises land in Oklahoma where prosperity “is” paramount.  In promotes land opportunities along the route of the Missouri, Oklahoma & Gulf Railroad.  There is a short map of part of the line running through Oklahoma and ending in Sherman Texas.  It specifically promotes, Coleman, Oklahoma.  It is not dated, but probably was after statehood, 1907, but it is definitely prior to 1917 because another ad from the same magazine advertises a pistol that was endorsed by Buffalo Bill. Buffalo Bill died in 1917 so the 2 ads, the Buffalo Bill ad being another one of our lots, are prior to 1917 and I would say close to statehood.  Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Guthrie are also mentioned, but Oklahoma City is not mentioned as the capital, (neither is Guthrie).  It measures approx. 4 5/8” x 6 ¼”.   It is in good condition but there is a moisture stain at the lower left quarter.   PLEASE EMAIL ANY QUESTIONS PRIOR TO BIDDING. Please see our other listings of vintage postcards, photos and related paper items. We are happy to combine lots, when possible, to reduce the s/h costs.   US buyer pays $ 3.00 s/h for up to 4 oz. of postcards, paper, photos and similar items, which includes tracking, and cardboard reinforcement, and Oklahoma residents MUST pay applicable sales tax.  Good Luck!
