Fiji - 1942 Five Shillings Banknote (P-37e)

Description

This auction is for a 1st January 1942 Five Shillings banknote from Fiji (identified by the dealer I bought it from as P-37e). This note is circulated and has the following: heavy folding and wear (also has heavy creases and areas of wrinkled/wavy folding); overall staining and darker areas of spot/line/section stains (also has smudges, dark and dirty areas, grease and/or rust stains, areas of discoloration, perhaps foreign substances); edge and corner wear (including corners rounded and/or split/frayed); edge indents/nicks (perhaps small tears but hard to say for certain); a few small holes; heavy surface wear and fraying.
