    Description

Antique Stillman Safety PAT Aug. 19., 1902 Brass Oil Finger Hole Lamp w/Burner & Chimney
I believe this was used on ships based on some of my research.
Signs of natural aged patina/tarnish. It is marked on the bottom STILLMAN SAFETY PAT AUG 19-02 (photo 6). When I took the burner off I can see what looks like a metal/brass tube with small manufactured holes on it down the middle of the oil lamp (photo 7 & 12). The burner screws onto the base. I cannot make out the words on the burner knob (photo 10). The cap/cover that goes over the wick is very delicate and broken (photo 8 & 9). Clear glass chimney has no chips or cracks.
I have not attempted to polish or clean this up. Soup can not included in sale (LOL!!!) ~ just used for size comparison.
Measures 11 1/4" tall x 7" in diameter. Weighs 1 pound (prior to packaging)
