Description
7' Tall Chance Brothers 2rd Order Fresnel Lighthouse Lens. This is one of 4 sections that would make up the entire lens. It is a flashing type lens, and would have been mounted on a mercury float, which used a mechanical clockwork to rotate the Lens. Very heavy, this section weighs approximately 800 Lbs. The Display Pedestal shown is included, and we can disassemble and crate this Lens for shipping. It is a fantastic looking item, and makes a very interesting display. This Lens came from a Lighthouse in the Persian Gulf, and was installed Ca 1915 by Chance Brothers, Lighthouse Engineers, from Birmingham, England. Questions? Call Steve at 810-599-5147.
