2 Eggshell Porcelain Chinese Tea Bowls Lobed Marked Quainlong & Jingdezhen. Let me be the first to say I know very little about Chinese pottery. Looking online, the mark on the larger bowl appears to be Quainlong and the smaller bowl, made in Jingdezhen. If I am matching the marks up correctly, they would be from the early 1900s. I cannot guarantee this as I purchased these second hand and didn't get any history of the pieces. I do not read Chinese. The bowls do nest inside one another, however, I don't know if they were originally a set. They were in the box that is in the photos. These are very thin. The paint is in good condition. There appears to be some staining at the top of the bowl, but I was afraid to clean it myself (I wasn't sure if I needed to do something special). It kind of looks like a tea stain. The larger bowl is approximately 4" across, the smaller is approximately 3". I could not find any cracks or chips, but the edge and bottom are not as smooth as the painted portion. Please see the photos for the best description. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. Please let me know if you need additional information. Thank you for looking.
